Dear Resident,
Between 16:30 hrs 21/11/2025 and 07:30 hrs 24/11/2025, vehicles belonging to Pilton Equalities Project had their fuel tanks drilled and fuel stolen, resulting in thousands of pounds worth of damage/theft. This incident happened whilst the vehicles were parked at Blackhall Library (56 Hillhouse Road, Edinburgh).
Pilton Equalities Project is a charity situated in the West Pilton area of Edinburgh. Among other things, they help the local community by providing transport to vulnerable and disabled adults and children within the local area.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft, may have been in the area around the times of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious, or have CCTV footage (including dashcam footage).
